“Lord, you gave the largest sacrifice, your son, so that I may have eternal life. Today, I will make a sacrifice in your name and in your honor.”
Today, let us give something up to God to show our love to Him. While our sacrifice cannot come close to the one He gave to us, let us pay respect and show obedience by choosing to give something up today in God’s name.
Maybe you can give time up in prayer where you have not in the past or perhaps you could give up a vice. Whatever it is you do today, make it be a sacrifice to honor God Almighty. Amen.
